Björn Mulder (1967, Kaapstad, Zuid-Afrika) grew up in South Africa. After completing secondary school in Cape Town, he moved to the Netherlands for further education at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague. In 1990 he graduated Cum Laude as an architectural designer. Afterwards, Mulder worked as a project manager and designer at Jan Brouwer and associates, Rob Eckhardt and Macie Concepts. Since 1995, he has been working as an independent designer, from furniture design to interior projects.
