Bruno Vermeersch (1981, Kortrijk, Belgium) graduated as an architect from the Master of Architecture and Urban Planning – Ghent University in 2005. He worked for 10 years as a senior architect for Studio Makkink and Bey and effective from September 2015 as Editor in Chief of form studies at the Academy of Architecture. Through experience, Bruno Vermeersch is active in various fields and at different levels, from product to interior architecture and master planning, as an architect, product designer and creative strategist. Vermeersch is the founder of 50 Minutes and the co-founder of Jacques & André. He is a regular guest lecturer and a member of the jury at various academies and universities, and a committee member at the Creative Industries Fund.
